We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database and Cloud Engineer to design, develop and optimise scalable database solutions for applications supporting the German market. Based in Pune, the role will focus on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, database performance, production stability, technical leadership and preparing applications for cloud transition. What you’ll do

Design and maintain productive database schemas, tables and relationships.
Optimise databases, SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, indexes and resources.
Monitor and resolve production and non-production issues.
Investigate technologies and present recommendations for architectural review.
Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Automate job scheduling and operational activities using relevant scripting tools.
Promote the adoption of appropriate tools, methods and engineering standards.
