Senior DevOps Engineer
Reporting to the Manager of Technical Solutions, the DevOps Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of Canada Life's Integration Platform capabilities. This role combines software engineering, platform engineering, and site reliability engineering practices to build, support, and evolve critical integration technologies that enable secure, scalable,



and resilient digital solutions across the organization.
The DevOps Engineer will work closely with architecture, development, operations, and business teams to deliver modern integration solutions, improve platform reliability and observability, and ensure enterprise integration services remain available, supportable, and aligned with business needs.
What you will do
Collaborate with stakeholders to define initiative deliverables and design secure, resilient, cost-effective solutions that meet business, technical, security, and operational requirements.
Design, build, deploy, and support integration platform capabilities including API management, event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, service mesh technologies, and containerized workloads.
Build and deploy event-driven solutions utilizing industry best practices for scalability, resiliency, observability, and supportability.
