Overview
The Application Functional Analyst is responsible for the ongoing management, functional support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of project controls and governance applications, including Primavera P6 Cloud, Primavera P6 On-Premises, EcoSys, CostX and Comaea. The role acts as the primary liaison between business users, vendors, support teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure applications remain reliable, supportable, and aligned with business needs.
This role combines functional expertise, application lifecycle management, vendor coordination, upgrade management, testing, and Level 3 support responsibilities.
Your Role
Roles & Responsibilities
Act as the functional lead for assigned project controls and governance applications, ensuring systems remain aligned with business processes, delivery needs, and technology standards.
Coordinate upgrades, patches, releases, and vendor-led changes, including impact assessments, testing, communications, and business readiness activities.
Work with application vendors, database teams, infrastructure teams,



cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to coordinate initiatives such as database consolidation, environment rationalisation, and application modernisation.
Provide Level 3 functional support for complex issues, working with technical teams and vendors to investigate root causes, recommend workarounds, and implement long-term corrective actions.
Participate in solution testing, release validation, and deployment activities.
Maintain robust relationships with project controls, estimating, scheduling, finance, governance, and operational teams using the applications.
Ensure application documentation, support models, configuration records, and knowledge articles remain accurate and usable by IT and business stakeholders.

Provide advanced functional support for Primavera P6 Cloud, Primavera P6 On-Premises, EcoSys, CostX and Comaea.
