Program Overview for Sustainable Cities and Transport

WRI India's urban development work aims to transform the way cities are planned
and designed to ensure that urban development benefits people, nature and
climate. We focus on integrated solutions to long-standing urban challenges,
leveraging evidence-based data, applied research and our network of partners and
experts. We collaborate at all levels with the government, city administrations,
urban stakeholders and partners to help cities become resilient, low-carbon and
liveable while balancing their socio-economic goals.

JOB HIGHLIGHT

The selected candidate will support communications and outreach for WRI India’s
transport work. The role will involve helping translate research, field insights
and programme updates into clear, engaging and accessible communication products
for different audiences.

The candidate will support content development, social media, event outreach,
design collaterals and documentation across transport themes such as public
transport, electric mobility, freight, road safety, active mobility, last-mile
connectivity and inclusive urban mobility. The role is suited for someone with
strong writing skills, an interest in sustainable transport, robust interest in
creating compelling visual designs and the ability to support both digital and
offline communication outputs.
