About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist

In this role, you will:
Consult on activities requiring specialized expertise related to maintaining complete and accurate records of payroll information
Contribute in providing work direction, coaching, and managing daily schedules
Consult in payroll inquires, records, deductions, and procedures
Improve and update operations by maintaining accurate records of payroll information
Guide resolution of payroll regulatory risks by applying understanding of current and current industry practices
Monitor evolving industry changes and communicating implications to team
Review complex data with legal compliance and the impact it will have on resources
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Improve customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: HR Operations, Accounting, Payroll, or Payroll Tax, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training,



military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: HR Operations, Accounting, Payroll, Payroll Tax, Compliance, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
University degree in Business or related discipline.
Experience in India End-to-End Payroll Operations, final settlement preparation & Payroll Statutory compliance (Income tax, PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, NPS, Gratuity, Stat bonus, etc.)
Preparing Monthly Payroll inputs and validate the same via maker checker process, 100% of Payroll output validation from Gorss to net for active employees and final settlement (including statutory deductions).
Preparing payroll related MIS reports like CTC variance, head count, pay revision and quality reports.
