Job Summary
Responsible for managing day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring timely, secure, and cost-effective movement of employees, goods, or materials. The role involves coordinating drivers and vehicles, monitoring routes and schedules, maintaining transport records, and resolving operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily transport operations, schedules, routes, and vehicle allocation.
Coordinate with drivers, transport vendors, customers, and internal departments.




Monitor vehicle movements and ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
Plan routes to optimize travel time, fuel consumption, and transportation costs.
Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, insurance, registration, and statutory requirements.
Track fuel consumption, mileage, vehicle utilization, and operating expenses.
Handle breakdowns, delays, accidents, and other transport-related emergencies.
Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, fuel, maintenance, and driver performance.
Verify transport invoices and supporting documents from vendors.
Identify opportunities to improve fleet utilization and reduce transportation costs.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport performance reports.
Ensure compliance with applicable transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Support audits and maintain proper transport documentation.
