Role Description This is a full time remote job for a Video Editor at Preet Tech.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling and editing video content for websites, social media, and marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives. Daily tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and optimizing video quality for various platforms. The role involves close collaboration with designers, marketers,



and content creators to interpret briefs, contribute creative ideas, and maintain consistent visual storytelling.

The Video

Editor will also manage project files, adhere to deadlines, and stay up to date with video trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for creating polished, engaging content.

- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain consistent tone.

- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to develop dynamic titles, overlays, and visual elements.

- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and export settings for digital platforms.

- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).

- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.

- Relevant coursework or a degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field is preferred, as is prior experience in a digital or marketing-focused setting.
