Role Overview

Waidon is looking for a Video Editor Intern to support the creation of engaging, polished, and platform-ready video content for the brand’s social media and digital channels.

The primary focus of this role will be video editing and post-production

. We are looking for candidates with practical experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

, along with a strong understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, B-roll, and on-screen text.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit raw footage into engaging content for Waidon’s social media and digital platforms.
- Work primarily with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects .

- Select and integrate relevant B-roll to strengthen storytelling and visual appeal.
- Create clean and effective titles, captions, and subtitles .

- Maintain appropriate pacing, cuts, transitions, and overall visual flow.
- Adapt content for different social media formats and requirements.
- Work closely with the content and videography teams to understand creative requirements and deliver final edits.
- Organise project files and maintain an efficient editing workflow.

Key Requirements

- Valuable practical working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro .

- Basic to working knowledge of Adobe After Effects .

- Understanding of B-roll selection, placement, and visual storytelling .

- Ability to create clean titles, captions, and subtitles .

- Good understanding of editing pacing, cuts,



transitions, and composition .

- Strong attention to detail and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to understand feedback and incorporate revisions effectively.
- Portfolio, showreel, previous projects, or relevant college work will be strongly preferred.

Preferred — Videography Skills As Waidon is looking to build a versatile content team, candidates with basic videography knowledge will have an added advantage

Familiarity with the following would be beneficial:

- Basic camera handling
- Framing and composition
- Camera angles
- Lighting

Videography is not mandatory for this position. Strong practical editing ability will remain the primary selection criterion.

Software Requirement

- Adobe Premiere Pro:

- Adobe After Effects:

- Da Vinci or any other Professional Software

- CapCut / VN: Experience with these tools alone will not be considered sufficient for the role.

Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates who demonstrate practical editing ability, strong visual judgment, and an understanding of digital content

, rather than candidates who are familiar with software alone.

A candidate who is proficient in Premiere Pro and has a positive understanding of storytelling, B-roll, captions, and pacing, while also having basic videography knowledge, would be considered an ideal fit.
