Role: Experienced YouTube Video EditorFinaltouch is looking for an experienced Video Editor who understands YouTube content and can independently turn raw footage into engaging, professional videos.

This is a full-time, work-from-office position based in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have previous experience editing YouTube videos and a strong understanding of YouTube pacing, storytelling, retention, and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

- Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to final delivery.
- Create engaging storytelling through pacing, cuts, B-roll, graphics, sound effects, and music.
- Maintain strong viewer retention through effective editing techniques.
- Add subtitles, motion graphics, transitions, animations, and visual effects when required.
- Perform professional color correction and basic color grading.
- Clean and mix dialogue, music, and sound effects for a polished final product.
- Understand the creator's style and maintain consistency across videos.
- Follow editing briefs while also bringing your own creative ideas to improve the video.
- Handle revisions professionally and meet project deadlines consistently.




- Work closely with the creative team and understand feedback quickly.

Requirements
- Prior professional experience in YouTube video editing is required.
- Strong portfolio of YouTube videos is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects is a strong advantage.

- Strong understanding of YouTube editing, storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention.
- Good knowledge of sound design, color correction, B-roll, graphics, and visual effects.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Solid attention to detail and creative thinking.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work full-time from our Ahmedabad office.
- Freshers without professional YouTube editing experience are not eligible for this position.

Salary₹22,000 – ₹50,000+ per month Salary will depend on experience, editing quality, portfolio, and the level of YouTube channels you have worked with.

For highly experienced editors who have worked with established or high-performing YouTube creators/channels, compensation can be higher than ₹50,000 per month.
