About PalaceDekhoPalaceDekho is a destination wedding platform helping couples discover and book premium palaces, resorts, heritage properties, and luxury wedding venues across India.

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor & Content Intern who understands short-form content and can turn raw footage from luxury properties, destination weddings, interviews, events, and founder-led shoots into engaging digital content.

This is primarily a video editing role, with additional exposure to social media and content creation.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, interview clips, venue walkthroughs, wedding content, testimonials, and promotional videos.
- Convert raw footage into engaging short-form content with strong hooks, pacing, transitions, subtitles, music, and storytelling.
- Edit videos from luxury hotels, resorts, palaces, wedding venues, industry events, and destination visits.
- Work on founder-led and talking-head content, including interviews and educational/informational videos.
- Repurpose long-form footage into multiple short-form content pieces.
- Perform basic colour correction, audio enhancement, sound design, transitions, and motion graphics wherever required.
- Understand current Instagram and short-form video trends and creatively adapt them for the PalaceDekho brand.
- Assist in planning reels, video concepts, hooks, scripts, and content ideas.




- Write basic social media captions, video titles, hooks, and supporting copy.
- Assist in managing and publishing content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Organise raw footage, edited files, venue media, and other digital content systematically.
- Maintain consistency with PalaceDekho's luxury and premium brand positioning.
- Coordinate with the Founder and internal team to execute the monthly content calendar.
- Track basic content performance and identify formats that generate better reach and engagement.

What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on video editing skills — this is the most significant requirement.
- Good understanding of short-form content, especially Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Creative sense of storytelling, pacing, music selection, transitions, and visual presentation.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar professional editing software.
- Basic understanding of colour grading, audio editing, subtitles, and motion graphics.
- Good understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and current content trends.
- Decent written communication and ability to write captions and basic scripts.
- Interest in luxury hospitality,



destination weddings, travel, hotels, lifestyle, and premium brands is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple pieces of content simultaneously.

Portfolio RequirementA video editing portfolio/showreel is mandatory.

Candidates should share examples of their previous work, preferably including:

- Reels / Shorts
- Cinematic edits
- Travel or hospitality content
- Talking-head videos
- Interviews
- Promotional/brand content

Based on your editing quality, creativity, consistency, turnaround time, ownership, overall performance, and business requirements, you may be considered for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) for a full-time role with PalaceDekho upon successful completion of the internship.
