Role Description This is a contract, in office Video Editor role based in Srinagar.

The Video

Editor will work closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to assemble raw footage into cohesive, engaging video content. Daily tasks include organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions, sound effects, and music, and synchronizing audio and visuals. The role involves color grading, basic motion graphics, and integrating on-screen graphics to enhance storytelling and brand consistency.

Editor will also collaborate on visual style,



implement feedback from stakeholders, manage project timelines, and ensure all deliverables meet technical and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and cinematic visual output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and visual enhancements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is beneficial.
- Experience working with different formats, frame rates, and aspect ratios for digital platforms is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are beneficial.
- Previous work in commercial, branded, or narrative video projects and a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant experience are beneficial.
