Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Coimbatore.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into explicit, engaging videos that communicate AALROOT’s products, solutions, and brand stories across digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and refining video clips, adding transitions, music, and sound effects, and applying color grading to ensure consistent visual quality. The role involves creating motion graphics and simple visual assets to explain technical concepts, as well as collaborating with marketing, product,



and engineering teams to develop promotional, explainer, and instructional videos.

The Video

Editor will also optimize video formats for different platforms, maintain an organized media library, and support the production of recent content from planning through final delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for creating polished, narrative-driven, and informative videos.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of content.
- Capability in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design simple animations, titles, and visual elements that clarify complex IoT concepts.
- Experience with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, storytelling ability, and understanding of digital platforms such as YouTube, social media, and corporate websites.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communication, Design, or a related field; prior experience in tech or product-based companies is an advantage.
