We are looking for a passionate and skilled Faculty – Video Editing to train students in professional video editing and post-production. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, with the ability to mentor students through real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach video editing concepts from beginner to advanced level.
- Conduct practical sessions on Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
- Train students in editing techniques, color correction, audio synchronization, and storytelling.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and project-based learning activities.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide students in creating portfolios and industry-ready showreels.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure timely completion of the curriculum.
- Stay updated with current editing trends and filmmaking workflows.
Required Skills
- Solid expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
- Good understanding of post-production workflow and cinematic editing.
- Knowledge of color grading, transitions, sound editing, and export settings.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to teach and mentor students effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in video editing or post-production.
- Prior teaching or training experience will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience working on films, advertisements, product shoots, or digital media projects.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating editing and post-production work.
- Passion for education and student development.
Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
