The Role

As Vice Principal, you will play a central role in the strategic and day-to-day leadership of the school. You will help create an workplace where students are challenged to achieve their highest potential, teachers are empowered to excel, and the wider school community thrives.

Key Areas of Leadership

- Provide strategic and operational leadership alongside the Principal.
- Drive academic excellence, teaching quality, assessment, and student achievement.
- Lead and mentor faculty, encouraging a culture of professional growth and innovation.
- Oversee student discipline, pastoral care, wellbeing, safeguarding, and personal development.
- Provide leadership across the boarding and residential programme, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching experience for students.
- Strengthen systems for student leadership, character development, sports, activities, and experiential learning.
- Support recruitment, induction, appraisal, and professional development of faculty and staff.
- Maintain high standards of school policies, processes, and institutional governance.
- Build strong and professional relationships with parents, students, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the school at appropriate academic, professional, and community forums.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.





Who We Are Looking For We are looking for an inspiring educational leader, not simply an administrator.

The ideal candidate will bring:

- A postgraduate degree, preferably with B.Ed./M.Ed. or equivalent professional qualification.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in school education, including significant senior leadership responsibility.
- Experience in a leading boarding/residential school will be strongly preferred.
- A demonstrated record of improving academic outcomes and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of contemporary pedagogy, assessment, pastoral care, and student wellbeing.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with students, parents, faculty, and senior stakeholders.
- A calm, decisive, and collaborative leadership style.
- High personal integrity, emotional intelligence, and a robust commitment to safeguarding.
- The ability to balance academic rigour with character, confidence, leadership, and holistic development.
- Willingness to be an active member of the school's residential community.
