Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage the fund accounting team to ensure accurate and timely calculation of net asset value (NAV) for hedge funds, mutual funds, and other investment vehicles.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for hedging foreign currency risks using derivatives such as forwards, futures, options, swaps etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
Job Requirements :
- 11-17 years of experience in fund accounting or related field.
- Robust knowledge of hedge accounting principles under IFRS/US GAAP.
- Experience with NAV calculations for various types of investment vehicles including hedge funds, mutual funds etc.
