Role Description The Vehicle Evaluator role at Jobstex is a full-time, on-site position based in Madhya Pradesh, India.

The Vehicle

Evaluator is responsible for inspecting and assessing vehicles to determine their mechanical condition, cosmetic appearance, safety compliance, and overall market value. Day-to-day activities include performing detailed visual and functional checks, documenting findings, preparing evaluation reports, and updating relevant systems or databases with accurate information. The role involves collaborating with sales, procurement, and operations teams to support transparent pricing and purchasing decisions, as well as communicating evaluation outcomes clearly to internal stakeholders and clients.

The Vehicle

Evaluator is expected to follow standardized inspection procedures,



adhere to safety and compliance guidelines, and maintain high-quality documentation for every vehicle assessed.

Qualifications

- Strong vehicle inspection, assessment, and basic mechanical understanding skills, with the ability to identify visible defects and potential issues.
- Proficiency in documenting evaluations, preparing explicit reports, and using digital tools or software to record and manage data.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills to compare vehicle conditions against set standards and guide fair value estimation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with sales, operations, and management teams, and explain findings in a explicit, professional manner.
- Ability to follow structured processes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements related to vehicle evaluation and handling.
- Comfort working in office in yard or showroom environments, including performing physical inspections that may require extended periods of standing and moving around vehicles.
- Previous experience in automotive inspection, service, or related fields is preferred; familiarity with the local vehicle market in Madhya Pradesh or India is an advantage.
- Upper-secondary education or vocational training in automotive, mechanical, or a related discipline is beneficial; willingness to undergo further training and certification as needed.
