Main purpose of the role

The Department of Education at the University of York is internationally recognised for its high quality teaching and research. The department offers very popular BSc and MSc programmes in Psychology in Education, both of which are accredited by the British Psychological Society. The Psychology in Education technician will support these and similar programmes by providing psychology-related technical support to staff and students. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and enhance the support provided to the programmes by assisting in the design of practical activities for teaching as well as supporting dissertation students.
