Role Description This full time, on-site Vascular Surgeon role is based at Gleneagles Hospitals in Bengaluru.

The Vascular

Surgeon will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders, providing both elective and emergency vascular care. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing vascular surgeries and endovascular procedures in the operating room, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including cardiology,



critical care, and radiology, and participating in pre-operative and post-operative patient management. The role involves adherence to clinical protocols, maintaining accurate medical records, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and participating in clinical case discussions and audits.

The Vascular

Surgeon is expected to uphold high standards of patient safety, ethical practice, and evidence-based medicine.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in clinical Medicine with the ability to manage complex vascular patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Advanced expertise in Vascular Surgery, including open and endovascular procedures, with proficiency in managing arterial and venous pathologies.
- Clinical experience in Vascular and related specialties, including assessment of peripheral vascular disease and other vascular disorders.
- Hands-on experience in the Operating Room, including perioperative care, surgical asepsis, and emergency surgical interventions.
- Exposure to Cardiology or cardiovascular medicine, enabling integrated care for patients with combined cardiac and vascular conditions.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in General Surgery, followed by Mch Vascular surgery.
- Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, adherence to clinical governance
