A Vehicle Evaluator inspects, assesses, and determines the condition and market value of vehicles to support sales, purchase, or certification processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and body condition.

- Verify vehicle documentation such as registration certificates (RC), insurance, loan clearance, and service history.

- Estimate repair costs and refurbishment requirements for pre-owned vehicles.

- Determine fair market value based on inspection findings, market trends, and company guidelines.

- Coordinate with sales teams to support procurement, pricing, and negotiation with sellers.

Required Skills

- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, clutches, and electrical components.

- Ability to identify wear, damage, or potential issues in vehicles.

- Familiarity with RTO regulations and used car documentation.





- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, OBD-II scanners, and digital evaluation platforms.

- Good communication and negotiation skills to interact with customers and sales teams.

Qualifications and Experience

- Diploma, ITI, or degree in Automobile, Mechanical, or related fields; technical certifications in automotive mechanics are a plus.

- 1–5 years of experience in automobile service, inspection, or used car evaluation;

experience as a mechanic, service advisor, or car inspector is preferred.

- Valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Work Workplace

- Full-time, in-person roles at dealerships, workshops, or customer locations.

- Fieldwork may involve visiting multiple locations to inspect vehicles
