The Role: we are looking for a committed and competent planning engineer in the field of infrastructure development projects.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a service delivery in conformity with the order (Planning, cost, schedule, quality conformity)
- The planning of track systems, access roads, utilities and platforms as well as other traffic systems in the context of new construction, expansion or repair measures in (HOAI-Lph 1-2).
- The planning of traffic facilities taking into account the planning status the self quality check of planning services.
- An order-compliant preparatory work to obtain public law approvals according to
- 18 AEG.
- Being familiar with the Design guidelines National/International codes.
- Work in consultation with Engineers/Senior Engineers to achieve the desired output.
- Making sure the deadlines are respected and if not to discuss in advance with the Senior/Lead Engineer.
- Contribute when calculating the planning services / preparation of offers in the development of conceptual traffic planning.
Qualifications
- (Technical) university degree / Bachelor / Master in the field of civil engineering, transport engineering, railway construction or comparable training
- 2 Years of Experience in the related feild.
- Experience in the geometric design of railways or roadways, planning of traffic systems as well as measures in the superstructure, substructures and utilities.
- Interdisciplinary understanding and knowledge of the interrelationships between individual planning in infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of dealing with railway regulations and roads regulation.
- Knowledge of basic alignment design is expected.
- Confident handling of CAD programs (e.g. AutoCAD)
- Should have experience of working in any of the planning software environment: Auto Desk Civil 3D, Bentley Power Rail Track / Open rail Designer suite, Provi or similar software.
- Confident handling of Office programs (e.g. Excel, Word & PPT)
- Independent, committed and structured way of working.
- Quick comprehension, analytical thinking and economic action.
- Strong ability to work in a team.
- Very good communication skills in English.
- Willingness to take responsibility, reliability, flexibility & customer focus.
