Within the GCS, the Global Sales team is tasked with ensuring consistency in sales practices, sharing best practices, and enhancing win rates on a global scale. Collaborating closely with designated Global Sales Leaders from various geographies and business units, the team is committed to executing strategic priorities that are typically high-impact and high-visibility, aligning with the overarching strategic objectives of the firm.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who thrives in both individual contributor as well as cooperative environments across different project magnitudes.
Overview Of The Role
This role serves as the engine of the Competitive Intelligence (CI) cycle, delivering accurate research, up-to-date content, and polished outputs that enable the broader team to move with speed and confidence.
Work you’ll do The professional will execute competitive intelligence research tasks to scope, gathering accurate, current and relevant information from credible sources to support pursuit teams, account teams and Global Sales CI leadership. Conduct primary and secondary research on competitors, clients, industries, technologies, and market trends using approved internal and external sources to support pursuit teams, account teams and GSCI leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and refresh competitor profiles, capability maps, battle-card content, market snapshots and other CI deliverables using established templates, taxonomies and quality standards.
- Compile and organize sourced intelligence from company filings, newsrooms, published indices, analyst research, CI platforms and other reputable sources, clearly documenting sources and flagging anything uncertain or unverifiable.
- Support win/loss and pursuit insight activities by collecting inputs, summarizing themes, organizing supporting evidence and preparing draft materials for review.
- Prepare clean, well-structured deliverables in PowerPoint and Excel, including one-pagers, briefings, research summaries, profile pages and stakeholder-ready exhibits.
- Maintain intelligence libraries, knowledge repositories, and content databases to ensure information remains current and properly sourced.
- Use GenAI and approved productivity tools to speed up research, first-draft synthesis and formatting, while validating outputs and preserving source discipline.
- Coordinate with GSCI team members across locations to support deadlines, maintain current intelligence and contribute to reusable knowledge repositories.
Requisite core skills
- - Strong secondary research skills and ability to identify credible sources, capture key facts and organize information in a clear, reusable way.
- - Developing ability to synthesize competitor strengths, weaknesses, capabilities and market signals into concise findings and practical implications.
- - Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create clean, accurate and visually clear deliverables using established templates.
- - Exposure to tools and sources such as AlphaSense, Factiva, Crayon, D&B; Hoovers, company filings, newsrooms, published indices, analyst reports or similar resources preferred.
- - High attention to detail, strong source discipline and willingness to flag uncertainty rather than present unverifiable information as fact.
- - Curiosity, strong follow-through and ability to work reliably in a virtual team environment across geographies and time zones.
- - Comfort applying GenAI tools to improve research productivity, content structuring and analysis, with strong attention to confidentiality, validation and source quality.

Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
- - Education: Degree in in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy, Economics, Communications, Data Analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- - Work experience: 4+ years of experience, with ~3 years of relevant experience in in research, competitive intelligence, market analysis, sales analysis, pursuit support, consulting, business development or a related analytical role.
- - Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms
- - Location: Hyderabad
- - Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
- - Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM OR 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with shift timings)
- - Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
