Purpose of the role The primary purpose of this role is to provide support to various business areas through day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading activities, and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

- Support various business areas with daily initiatives, including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to ensure alignment and integration of operational processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for operational processes.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance, communicating findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to implement best practices in banking operations.
- Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

As a USCB Operations Analyst at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future and safeguarding the business and customers from financial crime risks.
- Able to work a permanent night-shift, office-based operating model supporting US Consumer Bank Operations during the 4 PM IST to 5 AM IST operating window across a 7-day workplace (no day shift option).
- Proficient in using operational and system tools such as AWS, Salesforce, access/profile management, request management, incident management, and BCheck for daily delivery, tracking, and escalation routines.
- Capable of monitoring metrics (e.g., shrinkage, availability drivers, workforce levels, system availability, time and absence, time-off trends) to support capacity management.
- Identify capacity risks related to shrinkage, no-call/no-shows, and time-off levels/trends, providing clear visibility to Operations, Workforce Management, and senior stakeholders.
- Conduct reviews on control effectiveness, completion, evidence, and escalations regarding breaks.
- Manage access controls, BCheck, add-change-delete requests.




- Support Access Controls for appropriateness, segregation, avoidance of conflict of interest, inventory updates, approvers, audit support, monthly reconciliations, persona maintenance, and reporting.
