Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients or internal stakeholders to understand expectations.
- Translate client requirements into actionable goals and align team efforts accordingly.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to enhance their skills and overall productivity.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Address escalations and operational challenges promptly by providing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and internal controls.
- Conduct regular team meetings to align on goals, expectations, and deliverables.
- Manage team schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and task prioritization.
- Monitor team performance against KPIs and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in client meetings to understand their expectations and translate them into actionable goals for the team.
- Checking Daily Emails & Assigning them to the team after setting their priority of Urgency.
- Prioritizing tasks and emails on the basis of urgency shown by clients.
- Ensuring emails are being responded to within 24 hrs of receiving client emails.
- Overlooking the Projects Status along with their Budget & Deadlines.
- Researching the Current Software & Resolving other technical Issues.
- Creating Processes for the Team to reconcile the client within estimate & at deadlines.
- Defining budgets and deadlines as soon as the project comes.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 4+ years in accounting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA) are a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and US accounting practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
- Leadership qualities with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems.
- Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
