Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technology-savvy US Accountant with strong knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using AI-powered accounting tools, automation, ERP systems, and data analytics to improve accuracy, efficiency, and financial processes.

The role requires strong attention to detail, compliance focus, analytical thinking, and the ability to leverage technology to streamline accounting operations and support audits, forecasting, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger entries.
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare financial reports and management summaries.
- Support audits, tax documentation, and financial forecasting.
- Assist in budgeting and variance analysis.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive accounting and finance processes.
- Use AI tools and accounting automation platforms to improve data accuracy, reporting, and productivity.
- Leverage technology to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and generate actionable insights.
- Maintain accurate digital financial records and support ERP/cloud accounting system operations.

Core Qualifications & Competencies

- 3+ years of experience in US accounting.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP principles.




- Hands-on experience in AP, AR, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP/cloud accounting systems, and Excel.
- Strong AI and technology proficiency, with the ability to effectively use AI tools for accounting, research, data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
- Ability to identify and implement opportunities for workflow automation and process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and compliance accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, technology-driven environment.
