Position : SCM Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain

Industry : Cleanroom / HVAC / EPC / Construction

Work Location : Thane with travel across Pan India

Working Days : Monday to Saturday

Working Hours : 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Reporting To : Management / Director

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SCM Manager to lead procurement and supply-chain activities for cleanroom and project-based operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Cleanroom, HVAC, MEP, EPC or construction project procurement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage end-to-end procurement and supply-chain activities for projects.
2. Develop and maintain a strong vendor and supplier network.
3. Source and evaluate new vendors based on quality, price, capacity and delivery capability.
4. Handle BOQ/BOM-based procurement and material planning.
5. Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
6. Release and manage Purchase Orders and ensure timely material delivery.
7. Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Finance, Stores and Site teams.
8. Monitor supplier performance, quality and delivery commitments.
9. Develop alternate sources for critical materials.

Control procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
11. Track material requirements, pending POs, deliveries and shortages.
12. Resolve vendor-related commercial and delivery issues.
13. Maintain procurement MIS, vendor performance reports and management reports.
14. Ensure procurement is aligned with project schedules and business requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience : 7–12+ years

Robust experience in procurement / SCM

Good understanding of project procurement

Strong vendor development and negotiation skills

Positive understanding of project procurement

Strong coordination and communication skills

Advanced Excel / ERP knowledge preferred
