Role OvervieW :

We are looking for a strong backend-focused Node.js Developer with hands-on NestJS experience, responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. We expect solid software engineering fundamentals object-oriented design, dependency injection, and modular architecture — not just framework familiarity.

You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application, so a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities :

- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions

Skills and Qualifications :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js / backend development
- Solid proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with NestJS (modules, providers, guards, interceptors, pipes) — mandatory
- Strong grasp of OOP concepts (encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction) and SOLID principles




- Solid understanding of dependency injection and IoC, and how NestJS's DI container works
- Familiarity with common design patterns (repository, factory, strategy, decorator, etc.)
- Understanding of the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3
- Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Understanding of differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Strong database exposure to MySQL and PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization); MongoDB or other NoSQL is a bonus
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Good to Have :

- Exposure to microservices architecture (MSA) — inter-service communication (REST/gRPC/message brokers), service decomposition, distributed system concerns
- Experience with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis Streams
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
