They are urgently looking for an experienced EHS Executive , from Food & Beverage Manufacturing Industries

Position Summary

- They are urgently looking for an experienced EHS Executive with 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a Food & Beverage Manufacturing facility.
- To manages Environment, Health, & Safety (EH& S) through internal protocols, workplace compliance, & sustainability programs management
- Will lead safety, environmental compliance, & occupational health programs across plant operationsensuring full compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, & local food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Qualifications & Experience

- Master / Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or related science with 5+ years of progressive EHS experience.
- Proven experience managing Ammonia Safety (PSM), Machine Guarding, Wastewater/Effluent Management, & Ergonomics.
- Certifications ASP, CSP, or NEBOSH Diploma highly preferred. OSHA 30-Hour Food Processing certification is a plus.

Key Focus Areas of EHS

- Plant & Store Safety: Conducting hazard identification, risk assessments, & daily safety audits for manufacturing & retail operations under local factory & labor acts.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Enforcing strict protocols including regular temperature logs for cold-holding storage, sanitation sweeps, & compliance with health department codes.
- Workwear & Sanitation: Partnering with specialized hygiene providers for traceable,



professionally laundered uniform management to maintain clean production environments.
- Sustainability & ESG: Implementing green initiatives , energy conservation, & waste reduction across regional facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Regulatory Compliance: Direct plant operations to meet OSHA, EPA, & state regulatory standards. Oversee waste management, wastewater treatment, & air quality permits specific to food processing operations.
- Incident Prevention & Investigation: Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for safety incidents, near-misses, & ergonomics risks. Implement preventive measures to lower Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR).
- Industrial Hygiene & Chemical Safety: Manage chemical hazard controls, including sanitizer safety, ammonia refrigeration systems (PSM/RMP compliance where applicable), & airborne dust management (e.g., flour or dry spice handling).
- Cross-Functional Training: Build & deliver EHS training for floor technicians, sanitation staff, & leadership teams regarding LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Machine Guarding, & PPE standards.
- Audit & Continuous Improvement: Lead internal audits & support third-party GFSI/SQF/BRC audits, ensuring seamless alignment between food safety & occupational EHS.

- Can you Maintain compliance records for environmental consents & Conduct regular Job Hazard Analysis & prepare & update risk assessments & EHS audits & track non-conformities through to closure.
- Can you Maintain logs for near-misses & minor first-aid cases & Facilitate EHS inductions for all current hires, temporary workers, & contractors & help implement the annual training calendar for safety modules.
- Can you Support the coordination of emergency response drills like fire or evacuation simulations & Investigate workplace incidents & prepare Management Information System reports for leadership ?
