Job Description:
We are seeking an Application Engineer to join our product engineering teams, focusing on building customer-facing features and applications that directly serve financial advisors and their clients. This role offers the prospect to work on meaningful product features while developing expertise in wealth management technology. You'll implement features independently, participate in architectural decisions, and collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver impactful solutions.
This role is based in Hyderabad and follows a hybrid work model. You will collaborate with colleagues across India and the United States, with reasonable working-hour overlap when needed for team ceremonies, planning, and delivery. This is an excellent change to be part of building a new Global Capability Center and shaping an engineering and product culture based on deep partnership and ownership.

Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Implementation




Implement features independently within established architecture patterns
Handle complex bug fixes and participate in incident remediation and root cause analysis
Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration) and maintain high code quality standards
Diagnose and resolve non-trivial bugs in production applications
Use secure coding practices and design standards with data privacy best practices
Technical Design & Architecture
Contribute to technical specifications and design documents for application features
Implement solutions for complex problems within the wealth management domain
Identify edge cases and potential issues during feature development
Evaluate and recommend technical approaches for application-level challenges
Create reusable patterns and components for application development
Process & Execution
Participate actively in planning and estimation for feature development
Manage personal workload and priorities eff
