Drive research, testing, and technical support activities in the Corrosion & Durability Laboratory to evaluate material performance, understand degradation mechanisms, and support product development, manufacturing, quality improvement, and customer problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute corrosion and durability testing programs, including NSS, cyclic corrosion, environmental exposure, and accelerated aging studies.
Conduct failure analysis and root-cause investigations related to corrosion, coatings, and material degradation.
Utilize analytical techniques such as Optical Microscopy, SEM/EDS, FTIR, coating thickness measurement, surface analysis, and electrochemical methods.
Analyze and interpret test results to provide actionable insights for R&D;, manufacturing, quality, and customer support teams.
Support new product development, process optimization, and customer complaint resolution through data-driven technical recommendations.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and deliver timely project support.
Maintain high standards of laboratory safety, data quality, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

M.Sc. with relevant industrial or research experience, or M.Tech./M.E./M.S. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Corrosion Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
