Role Description This is a full time, on-site Medical Oncologist role based at Shashwat Hospitals in Gujarat, India. The Medical Oncologist will evaluate, diagnose,



and manage patients with solid and hematological malignancies, developing individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and other systemic modalities. Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary care with surgical and radiation oncologists, haematologists, pathologists, and allied health professionals, as well as participating in tumor boards and case discussions. The role involves monitoring treatment response, managing side effects and complications, providing palliative and survivorship care, and maintaining clear, empathetic communication with patients and families. The Medical Oncologist will also contribute to quality improvement, clinical protocols, and ongoing professional development, and may participate in research, teaching, and community education initiatives as appropriate.
