Role Description

The 2D Animator Intern will support the art and design teams in creating high-quality 2D animations for characters, environments, and UI elements in mobile and PC games. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing storyboards, animating sprites and visual effects, refining motion and timing, and collaborating closely with designers and developers to ensure animations match gameplay and narrative goals.



The intern will assist in integrating animations into the game engine, iterating based on feedback, and maintaining consistency with the project’s visual style. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar, where the intern will work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, creative studio setting.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Animation and Motion Graphics for game-ready 2D assets and visual effects.
Candidates should possess skills in Storyboarding to plan sequences, character actions, and cinematic moments.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Capture or an understanding of motion references to enhance realistic movement and timing.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with artists, designers, and developers.
Proficiency with 2D animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, Spine, or equivalent) is beneficial.
