Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech/ M.Tech in Civil, Geotechnical or Structural Engineering
Location: Project Sites / Design Offices across India
Key Requirements:
- Detailed tunnel design using TBM & NATM methods
- Design of NATM primary/secondary lining and TBM segmental lining
- Design of transition zones, cross passages, shafts, portals & adits
- Numerical modelling and analysis using RS2, RS3 & PLAXIS 2D/3D
- Rock mass classification using RMR / Q / GSI
- Review of geotechnical/geological investigation data and GBR
- Instrumentation, monitoring, risk assessment and mitigation
- Preparation of design reports, calculations, drawings & specifications
- Knowledge of Midas GTS NX / FLAC / UDEC / STAAD.Pro / AutoCAD / MicroStation is an advantage
- Robust understanding of Rock Mechanics, Engineering Geology & Tunnel Engineering
- Knowledge of relevant IS, IRC, RDSO/Metro, MoRTH & ITA guidelines
Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in Metro Rail, Hydro Power, Road or Railway Tunnel projects , particularly involving mixed TBM + NATM tunneling , will be preferred.
