Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Turning Operator and CNC Programmer specializing in CNC milling (2D) and 5-axis turn-mill programming. The role involves setting up and operating turning and CNC milling machines, loading and securing workpieces, selecting appropriate tools, and ensuring correct program execution.

The team member will create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for 2D milling and 5-axis turn-mill operations, adjust machine parameters, and perform basic troubleshooting to maintain quality and productivity. Daily tasks include monitoring machining processes, performing routine inspections and measurements of components, maintaining machine cleanliness and safety, and coordinating with supervisors and quality teams to meet production targets and delivery schedules. The role also requires accurate documentation of work,



adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaboration with colleagues to improve processes and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong computer operations and computer literacy skills to handle CNC interfaces, program input, and basic data entry.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, quality teams, and colleagues on production requirements and issues.
- Candidates should possess back office operations skills, including basic documentation, record-keeping of production data, and adherence to reporting procedures.
- Candidates should possess accurate typing skills to enter CNC codes, machine parameters, and operational notes without errors.
- Hands-on experience as a turning operator, CNC milling operator (2D), and CNC programmer, preferably with 5-axis and turn-mill machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, machining symbols, and tolerances.
- Knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters, and basic CNC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to work safely in a manufacturing setting.
- Relevant technical diploma, ITI, or certification in machining/CNC operations is preferred.
- Willingness to work in shifts as per production requirements and collaborate as part of a diverse team.
