Job Title: Treasury Specialist

Core Purpose of the Role: Handle cross-border payments and related compliances
Role Accountabilities
Support crossborder payments, including both A1 and A2 transactions, in compliance with RBI regulations.
Assist in IDPMS and ORM closures, along with ensuring adherence to various RBI compliances related to crossborder payments.
Ensure timely posting of payment entries in SAP.
Manage petty cash operations including maintenance of petty cash books for Syngene.
Handle cash and cheque advances, including cash requirements for the Clinical Study department and issuance of volunteer study cheques as per requirements.
Coordinate closely with banks and the sourcing team to address queries related to outward remittances and IDPMS/ORM clearances.
Liaise with internal and external auditors and support closure of audit queries related to payments and compliance.
Perform monthend activities, including timely preparation and submission of cash certificates.
Support process improvements and automation initiatives, including activities related to migration to SAP S/4HANA.

Specific requirements for this role
1. Experience: More than 5 years of experience in handling payments, preferably crossborder transactions
2. Demonstrated Capability: Handling payments and RBI compliances comfortably
1. Education: B.com/BBA
2. Skills and Capabilities
Good communication skills to co-ordinate with internal and external (Banks) stakeholders. Ability to analyze the problem- and problem-solving skills.
Time Management skills.
