We are looking for an experienced Travel Agency Accountant to join Goin' My Way Travels in Janakpuri, Current Delhi.

The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of accounting experience, including hands-on experience working with a Travel Agency, Tour Operator, DMC, OTA, or Travel Company.

Candidates with only general accounting experience and no direct Travel & Tourism accounting experience will not be considered.

The candidate will be responsible for independently managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling customer and vendor accounts, and supporting the company's financial and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations of the travel agency
- Maintain customer and vendor ledgers
- Handle customer collections, advances and outstanding payments
- Manage vendor payments and outstanding balances
- Record and reconcile travel bookings and package transactions
- Handle hotel, airline, DMC, agent and other travel supplier transactions
- Manage refunds, cancellations, adjustments and advances
- Perform customer and vendor ledger reconciliation
- Handle bank reconciliation
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Handle GST,



TDS and TCS-related accounting and compliance
- Prepare MIS and financial reports for management
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents

Required Skills & Experience:

- 4+ years of overall accounting experience
- Previous hands-on experience in Travel & Tourism accounting is mandatory
- Experience with a Travel Agency, Tour Operator, DMC, OTA or Travel Company
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS and TCS
- Experience with AP, AR and Bank Reconciliation
- Experience handling customer and vendor reconciliations
- Good knowledge of Advanced Excel
- Experience preparing MIS reports
- Ability to independently manage accounting operations

Travel-industry experience should include exposure to customer advances, travel bookings, vendor payments, hotel/airline/DMC transactions, refunds, cancellations and customer/vendor reconciliation. Location: Janakpuri, New Delhi

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Working Days: Monday–Saturday

This is an in-house position , so candidates must be comfortable working from our Janakpuri office on all working days.

- Only candidates with relevant Travel Agency / Tour Operator accounting experience will be shortlisted.
