We are looking for an experienced Treasury Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, and enhancement of treasury products and solutions. The role will work closely with Treasury, Finance, Risk, Technology, and business stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize the product backlog, and deliver solutions that improve cash management, liquidity, payments, funding, and financial risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Own the Treasury product vision, roadmap, and backlog.

Work closely with Treasury and Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into product requirements.

Define user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and business processes.

Prioritize product features based on business value, risk, regulatory requirements, and customer impact.

Manage end-to-end delivery of treasury product enhancements from requirements through implementation.

Collaborate with technology teams, architects, developers, testers, and external vendors.

Support treasury processes including cash management, liquidity management, payments, bank connectivity, FX, investments, and funding.

Identify opportunities to automate and optimize treasury operations.

Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Coordinate UAT, defect management, release planning, and production implementation.

Ensure products comply with relevant financial controls, treasury policies, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor product performance, operational issues, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Prepare product documentation, process flows, business requirements, and management reports.

Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, demos, and sprint ceremonies.

Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery timelines across multiple teams.





Act as the key liaison between Treasury business users and IT/engineering teams.

Required Skills

6+ years of experience in Treasury, Banking, Financial Services, or related domains.

Strong experience as a Product Owner / Business Analyst in treasury or financial applications.

Good knowledge of Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Payments, FX, and Bank Connectivity.

Strong understanding of treasury products, workflows, and financial operations.

Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar product management tools.

Solid skills in requirements gathering, backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder management.

Experience preparing BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.

Good understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and enterprise applications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) such as Kyriba, FIS, SAP Treasury, Oracle Treasury, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022, ACH, wire payments, and bank interfaces.

Understanding of FX, derivatives, investments, debt, and financial risk management.

Experience with ERP and banking integrations.

Knowledge of SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, and data analytics is an advantage.

Experience working with global Treasury teams and multiple banking partners.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA/Finance or relevant skilled certification is preferred.

Experience

6–10+ years of overall experience, with significant experience in Treasury Product Ownership / Treasury Business Analysis within banking, financial services, or corporate treasury environments.
