What we’re looking for…
ScienceLogic is hiring an Engineering Manager for our PowerPack team based in our Hyderabad office. This role will manage a team of approximately 20 software engineers and SDETs responsible for the development, quality, and ongoing evolution of the PowerPack portfolio. You will report to the Director of Product Engineering (India) and will be a member of the India engineering leadership team.
This is a people-first leadership role with meaningful technical responsibility. We are looking for an experienced engineering leader who can build trust, develop future leaders, drive execution, and thoughtfully apply AI-enabled practices to improve engineering outcomes.
What you’ll be doing…
You’ll lead a team of approximately 20 engineers comprised of full time employees and, covering responsibilities across:
People & Growth:
Conduct regular 1:1s with team members, providing coaching, feedback, and career development support.
Hiring: run screening and calibration with recruiting partners, and own onboarding for new hires.
Management of Contractors performance monitoring and support through contractor-to-FTE conversion process.
Performance management and career development conversations that go beyond the annual review.
Team health across the org: morale and psychological safety, not just velocity metrics.
