Role Description The Sales Associate/Optometrist role at OPTISCH EYEWEAR is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves greeting and assisting customers, understanding their vision needs and style preferences, and recommending suitable frames, lenses, and eye care solutions. Responsibilities include conducting or supporting eye examinations (as qualified), explaining prescriptions,



and ensuring accurate measurements and fittings for eyewear. The role also covers maintaining visual merchandising standards, managing basic store operations, and handling billing and customer follow-up. The Sales Associate/Optometrist collaborates with the team to meet sales targets, provide consistent, high-quality customer service, and uphold professional and ethical standards in eye care.
Qualifications

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers, understand needs, and provide clear guidance.
Sales and retail experience, including product recommendation, cross-selling, and comfort working with sales targets.
Optical or optometry background (Diploma or Degree in Optometry preferred), with knowledge of eye examinations, prescriptions, and lens types.
