Role Description The Business Development Officer role is a contract, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities with artists,



labels, and content owners, and building solid, long-term commercial relationships in the digital music space. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and presenting The SM Records’ services, negotiating commercial terms, supporting onboarding and account management, and collaborating with internal teams to align client needs with distribution and rights management solutions. The Business Development Officer will analyze market trends, prepare business proposals and performance reports, and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and expand the company’s presence across key territories. The role also involves maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring clear communication with partners and stakeholders.
