Solar Trainer

Job Summary

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Solar Trainer who will be responsible for providing technical and practical training on Solar Power Systems, Solar Panel Installation, Operation, Maintenance, and Safety Procedures. The candidate should have a strong understanding of solar energy concepts and hands-on knowledge of solar system installation.

The Solar Trainer will conduct classroom and practical training sessions for trainees, technicians, and field staff to ensure they develop the required knowledge and skills for the proper installation and maintenance of solar power systems.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Conduct training sessions on Solar Energy, Solar Power Systems, and Solar Installation.
- Provide theoretical and practical knowledge of On-Grid, Off-Grid, and Hybrid Solar Systems.
- Train candidates on the installation and commissioning of solar panels and related equipment.
- Explain the working principles of solar panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, mounting structures, and other solar components.
- Demonstrate proper procedures for site assessment, system sizing, installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning.
- Provide practical training on solar panel mounting and electrical connections.
- Train participants on troubleshooting, fault identification, and basic maintenance of solar power systems.
- Ensure trainees understand and follow all electrical and workplace safety procedures during installation and maintenance activities.
- Prepare training materials, presentations, manuals, assessments, and practical demonstrations.




- Evaluate trainees through written tests, practical assessments, and regular performance reviews.
- Maintain attendance, training records, assessment results, and other required documentation.
- Identify skill gaps among trainees and provide additional guidance and support where required.
- Stay updated with the latest developments, technologies, products, and practices in the solar energy industry.
- Coordinate with the operations and technical teams to align training programs with organizational and project requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to trainees during practical and field-based training sessions.
- Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of training equipment, tools, and demonstration materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly training reports and share updates with the management.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Solar Power Systems and Solar Installation.
- Good understanding of On-Grid, Off-Grid, and Hybrid Solar Systems.
- Knowledge of solar panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, mounting structures, and electrical components.
- Hands-on experience in solar system installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic electrical wiring, connections, and troubleshooting.




- Strong training, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
- Knowledge of electrical and installation safety standards.
- Good problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to conduct both classroom and practical training sessions.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, and PowerPoint for preparing training reports and presentations.

Qualification ITI / Diploma / Graduate / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, Solar Technology, or any other relevant technical field.

Experience

1–5 years of experience in Solar Power, Solar System Installation, Electrical Work, Solar Training, or related technical fields.

Candidates with hands-on experience in Solar Panel Installation and good training skills will be preferred.

- Number of training sessions conducted.
- Number of trainees successfully trained and certified.
- Trainee attendance and completion rate.
- Performance of trainees in theoretical and practical assessments.
- Training quality and trainee feedback.
- Improvement in technical skills and installation knowledge of trainees.
- Compliance with safety and technical training standards.
- Timely completion of assigned training programs and reports.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
