Job Summary

Kubernetes & Container Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Provide subject-matter expertise, maintain and help design the implementation of container technologies across hybrid and/or multi-cloud implementations.

- Manage and develop security requirements in the container ecosystem and maintain security blueprint and assist in the definition of security policies, standards and procedures.
- Experience of security fundamentals with relation to a Kubernetes platform • Setup and build Nirmata Managed clusters.
- Apply a workload Yaml to the cluster.
- Monitoring the Cluster Dashboards (Cluster Availability/ Cluster Policy Report, Quota, Resource Utilization, Alarms, System Tasks) • Monitoring and check Kubernetes Resources • Managing Cluster Add-ons • Recent POC or Pilot Testing • Modelling an application (Adding and application to the catalogue) • Import and Export YAMLs • Importing a Helm Chart • Maintain and update Aquasec Management server Set up include Database, Gateways and other components.
- Maintenance of Aquasec agents(enforcer) and scanners • Required configuration and coordination with tools and solutions owner with need to integrate with Aquasec.
- Aqua Security image report and monitoring AQUA scan status.
- Manage AquaSec application from operational point.
- Cluster Certificate monitoring and renewal.
- Haproxy Ingress certificate monitoring and renewal • Supporting task for application modifications (Validation and configurations at Cluster level/Nirmata) • Monitoring Nirmata UI and managed clusters • EKS Cluster Upgrade • Docker to Container Migration • Maintain the Wiz Conatiner Security

Skill Requirements





Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related technology • 10+ Years’ hands-on experiences in a managing Kubernetes environments • 10+ Years’ hands-on experience in Cloud Technologies • 12+ Years’ experience in IT • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or 3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience of building and managing clusters.
- Hands-on experience in architecting and designing complex customer solutions.
- Proven experience in designing and building large scale high performing, secure Kubernetes and other application platform on-premises, AWS, Azure, etc.
- Hands-on working Experience with public cloud (AWS and/or Azure or GCP) • Hands-on working experience with building/managing clusters in EKS and/or AKS.
- Experience with scripting and orchestration including Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Experience with monitoring tools such Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or equivalent • Excellent hands-on experience of Containerization using platforms and tools like – Kubernetes, Docker, ECR, ACR, Jenkins, Jfrog Artifactory, Bitbucket, git, Prometheus, Grafana etc.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills • Experience with Container Security tool and Enterprise products.
- Experience with various Kubernetes platforms (e.g., OpenShift, EKS, AKS, GKE)

Other Requirements

Relevant certifications (AWS, AZURE) preferred.
- Proven experience in handling large scale and growing infrastructure across Data Centres and heterogeneous Cloud platforms • Understanding of software delivery lifecycles, particularly Agile/Lean & DevOps • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes with Nirmata and Kong will be a plus.

Experience on container networking & security, image scanning for vulnerabilities using tools, Source code management and implementation of Security best practices, other DevSecOps principles and tools.
