Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Design & development of Plastic Injection Molds & Press Tools for automotive applications
- Hands-on experience in CATIA V5 – 3D/2D Tool Design & Detailing
- Knowledge of Core & Cavity, Parting Line, Sliders, Lifters, Ejectors & Cooling Systems
- Understanding of Mold Components, Tool Room & Mold Structure
- Basic knowledge of DFM, Draft, Undercuts, Shrinkage & Tooling Concepts
- Understanding of Plastic Component Design & Mold Feasibility
- Ability to read 2D Drawings, GD&T; & Engineering Specifications
- Coordinate with Manufacturing / Tool Room Teams for tool development & corrections
