Experience in Sheet metal tooling design and fabrication.
- Shall be expertise in designing and creating production drawings for incoming individual and
assembly inspection gauges and welding fixtures
- Review and critique 2D drawings and develop and manage tooling specifications
- Independent handling of Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review
(CDR) phases.
- Robust Knowledge required on Milling, Turning and surface and Heat treatment process
- Manage outside vendors with on time and on budget delivery of tooling components when
required
- Ability to perform tolerance stack-up analysis and full understanding of GD&T;
- Develop creative solutions for component fabrication and assembly using proven
composite bonding and fastening techniques
