We are hiring for a TL/AM - Production Engineering (Maintenance) based at NSEZ, Noida. This role plans, designs and implements maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of production site facilities and equipment
Role & responsibilities :
- Manages and participates in the installation and commissioning of current equipment, following the local safety guidelines
- Repairs and maintains mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instruments, following the local safety guidelines
- Liaises with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules
- Works in a team with Health and Safety to ensure the machines are compliant with the law
- Manages the contract with the machine suppliers
- Monitors the equipment inventory and consumables
- Provides information for external or internal audit (KPI/ ISO certification)
- Maintains key performance indicators and delivers monthly reports
- Manages the team work allocation to ensure KPI, objectives, procedures and quality standards are met
- Drive and conduct team development
- Handsover the activities during shift change
- Performs SIM meetings
- Plans and prioritizes work orders and scheduling overall repair and maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptions
- Implements best practice using 5S for continuous improvements
