We are looking for a detail-oriented, organised, and GDS-certified Ticketing Executive who wants to build a career in airline ticketing, group travel, reservations, and travel operations .
This opportunity is particularly suitable for freshers who have completed professional GDS training/certification from a recognised travel-training institute or well-known organisation and have a practical understanding of airline reservation systems.
About the Role
As a Ticketing Executive , you will be responsible for managing airline reservations and ticketing requirements, with a strong focus on group bookings, PNR creation and management, fare availability, ticket issuance, amendments, cancellations, and travel documentation .
The ideal candidate should not only hold a GDS certification but should also understand how to practically work with a GDS setting.
Candidates who are familiar with Amadeus and Galileo and have knowledge of group fare bookings and PNR creation will be strongly preferred.
This role is particularly suited for candidates who want to develop their career in airline reservations, international ticketing, group travel, educational travel, and travel operations .
Key ResponsibilitiesAirline Reservation & Ticketing
- Handle airline reservations and ticketing requirements for individual and group passengers.
- Search and check flight availability, schedules, fares, booking classes, fare rules, and applicable conditions .
Group Booking & Group Fare Management A key responsibility of this position will be handling group travel requirements . The candidate should be comfortable with:
- Handling group fare enquiries.
- Checking group flight availability.
- Requesting and coordinating group fares.
Candidates who have practical knowledge of group bookings and group fare processes will be given strong preference. PNR Creation & Management The candidate should have a clear understanding of PNR (Passenger Name Record) creation and servicing .
Responsibilities may include
- Creating PNRs accurately.
- Entering passenger names and required passenger information.
- Adding flight segments and itinerary details.
- Checking and updating PNR status.
- Managing booking changes and modifications.
- Updating passenger information where applicable.
- Maintaining accurate booking records.
- Monitoring ticketing deadlines and booking time limits.
- Servicing existing PNRs based on customer or operational requirements.
- Ensuring all booking information is accurate before ticket issuance.
Practical familiarity with PNR creation and management is highly preferred. GDS SystemsMandatory GDS Certification A recognised GDS certification is mandatory for this position.
Candidates should have completed a GDS certification/course from a recognised travel institute, training organisation, or established industry-recognised provider .
Candidates with certification or formal training in the following systems will be preferred:

The candidate should have an understanding of how GDS platforms are used for:

Holding a certificate alone is not sufficient. Candidates should be comfortable explaining the practical use of the GDS system during the selection process. Key Responsibilities – Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate with airlines, suppliers, travel partners, and internal teams regarding reservations and ticketing.
- Maintain accurate records of all bookings, PNRs, tickets, and passenger information.
- Monitor ticketing deadlines and ensure timely action on pending bookings.
- Track booking confirmations and pending requirements.
- Coordinate changes, cancellations, re-issuance, and other ticketing requirements.
- Ensure that all booking-related information is communicated accurately to the concerned team.
- Maintain proper documentation related to ticketing and reservations.
- Escalate complex fare, booking, or airline-related issues when required.
- Follow internal processes and ensure compliance with ticketing and documentation requirements.
