About the Role
MEICON is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to support drafting and documentation activities for transit-oriented projects.
The selected candidate will prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams, cable-routing plans,



and construction documentation using MicroStation and AutoCAD. The role requires close coordination with electrical engineers, multidisciplinary project teams, project managers, and site personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical drawings for transit-oriented projects, including:
Single-line diagrams
Power-distribution layouts
Lighting and emergency-lighting layouts
Panel and equipment schedules
Cable layouts and routing plans
Earthing, grounding, and bonding layouts
Conduit, cable-tray, and trench-routing plans
Electrical-room and equipment layouts
Fire-alarm and life-safety system layouts
Communications and low-voltage system layouts
Develop and modify electrical drawings using MicroStation, AutoCAD, and other relevant drafting platforms.
Convert engineering sketches, technical markups, field information, and design inputs into accurate drawings.
