We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation QA Engineer to join a dynamic technology team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with quality assurance professionals, software engineers, architects, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications through effective test automation and quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze application logs, events, and system behavior to identify issues and support troubleshooting.
- Design and develop test scenarios that simulate real-world production environments and application workflows.
- Investigate defects and perform root cause analysis (RCA) using diagnostic and monitoring tools.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and automation frameworks aligned with QA best practices.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvements across the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing and Quality Engineering.
- Robust experience in automation framework design, test strategy planning (STP), and test design documentation (STD).
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience working with tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, quick learner, and capable of working independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an innovative mindset.
- Understanding of customer experience and business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PyTest.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and cloud-based testing environments.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including basic query writing and database setup.
- Basic understanding of Retail Banking or financial services domain.
