Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Demand Management Lead to drive workforce demand planning, resource fulfillment, stakeholder engagement, and governance across the organization. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business leaders, delivery teams, HR, and talent acquisition to ensure timely fulfillment of resource demands aligned with organizational priorities.

The role requires robust expertise in demand forecasting, resource planning, analytics, stakeholder management, reporting, and process governance to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact between business leaders, delivery organizations, HR, Talent Acquisition, and resource management teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current and future workforce requirements.
- Communicate demand priorities, hiring plans, fulfillment progress, and resource constraints.
- Provide regular updates on demand pipelines, fulfillment status, and workforce availability.
- Facilitate weekly and monthly reviews with business and delivery leadership.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and transparency.
- Escalate critical hiring, fulfillment, and resource availability challenges to leadership.
- Support strategic workforce planning discussions with senior management.
- Build strong relationships across functions to drive alignment on talent requirements.

Demand Planning & Resource Fulfillment

- Manage end-to-end demand intake, review, approval, and fulfillment processes.
- Analyze resource demands received from various business units and projects.
- Prioritize open demands based on business criticality, project timelines, and strategic objectives.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to ensure timely sourcing and hiring against approved demands.
- Monitor demand aging and fulfillment progress.




- Identify risks related to resource shortages and skill gaps.
- Recommend workforce solutions such as internal allocations, cross-skilling, hiring, or contractor engagement.
- Track demand forecasts and align fulfillment strategies accordingly.
- Ensure optimal resource utilization across projects and business units.

Reporting & Analytics

- Prepare and maintain demand pipeline reports and workforce planning dashboards.
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including:

- Open Demand Count

- Demand Aging

- Fulfillment Rate
- Time-to-Fill

- Resource Utilization

- Skill Availability

- Hiring Productivity

- Forecast Accuracy
- Generate management reports for senior leadership reviews.
- Develop dashboards using reporting and visualization tools.
- Analyze workforce trends, hiring patterns, and fulfillment performance.
- Present actionable insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify future hiring requirements and workforce risks.
- Support data-driven resource planning initiatives.

Process Governance

- Ensure compliance with established demand management processes and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date demand records in resource management systems.
- Define, document, and standardize demand planning procedures.
- Establish governance frameworks for workforce demand management.
- Drive process adherence across business units and stakeholders.
- Monitor SLA compliance for demand fulfillment activities.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure data accuracy and process effectiveness.
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements.




- Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure timely closure and tracking of approved demand requests.

Continuous Improvement & Transformation

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within demand management and workforce planning processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
- Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, PMO, and delivery functions to enhance workforce planning capabilities.
- Benchmark demand management practices against industry standards.
- Recommend innovative solutions to improve fulfillment efficiency and resource optimization.
- Participate in workforce planning transformation projects.

- Experience handling leadership-level stakeholder interactions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple demands across business units and geographies.
- Exposure to IT Services, Digital Transformation, BFSI, Telecom, or Consulting environments preferred.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM preferred.
