Role Description The Test Engineer role is a full-time, in office position based in Pune District.

The Test

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain test cases for web and mobile applications, ensuring they meet functional and quality requirements. Daily responsibilities include executing manual and automated tests, documenting defects, collaborating closely with developers and business analysts, and participating in reviews to improve product reliability. The role involves performing functional testing, regression testing,



and validation of new features, as well as contributing to test plans and test reports.

The Test

Engineer will also help refine testing processes, support continuous integration efforts, and provide clear, timely communication on test results and quality risks.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in core testing concepts, including Testing and Functional Testing, with an understanding of different test types and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in Test Engineering and Test Execution, including planning and running test cycles for web or mobile applications.
- Ability to design, document, and maintain clear and detailed Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile/Scrum) and experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms).
- Basic understanding of automation frameworks or scripting languages is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and reliability.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear documentation and status updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
