Role Description This is a full time, on-site Tender Engineer role based in Gandhidham.

The Tender

Engineer will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, understanding technical and commercial requirements, and preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals for electrical contracting, O&M;, energy audit, and material supply projects. The role includes coordinating with internal engineering, procurement, and finance teams to gather necessary data and ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards.

The Tender

Engineer will track tender opportunities, manage submission timelines, prepare supporting documentation, and participate in technical and commercial clarifications as needed.



The position also involves maintaining records of tender submissions, analyzing bid outcomes, and supporting continuous improvement of the tendering process.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and practical understanding of electrical contracting, O&M;, and energy audit services.
- Experience in tendering or estimation, including reading technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications, and preparing cost breakdowns and proposals.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and other office productivity tools for costing, documentation, and reporting; familiarity with estimation or ERP software is an advantage.
- Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in budgets and technical documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams, and for preparing clear technical and commercial proposals.
- Ability to work on-site in Gandhidham, manage multiple tenders simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a structured, organized manner.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field; prior experience in tendering/estimation within the electrical industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations applicable to electrical installations and services is beneficial.
